Banjar is one of many, to be frank, indistinguishable towns in Java: quiet, small, just a little dusty, and with a train and bus station linking its good citizens to the wider world. The bus station is to the north of the town. It consists of a central building, with two wings on opposite sides, under which reside buses. It is my understanding that most of these buses are 'local', which is to say, convey people to the neighbouring towns of the region. A small selection of eats and drinks available in the station.

During my stop over, the station came to a halt, while most of the people present asked me to both take their picture and to be in a picture with them. Lots of phone cam snaps this day.
