This pottery factory, now in ruins, made thousands of bricks and tiles. At its height it supplied material for the construction of many houses, not only in the district of Santarém, but also neighboring areas.

The imposing chimney remains. Annually a couple of storks make their nests here, to be enjoyed by nature lovers.
