A sign at the site reads in the English portion:

"Town Hall
In 1977, the Town Hall was erected , occupying the place of the old buildings that were in this block. The project of this building, in the regional style and operational in 1981, was developed by the architect Francisco Lopez Ruvalcaba."
It is located on the Main Square and across the street from the malecon and the Pacific Ocean.
