Norfolk Island is a tiny 8km x 5km island located between Australia and New Zealand in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean, a little paradise where history, culture, friendship and community abound. The Island was a Penal Colony, a Hell in paradise. Many old and interesting buildings and relics remain from the Convict days.

Culla and Co Horse and Carriage tours features a wonderful old horse drawn carriage based at the Coach House in Rooty Hill Road. Tours of the island roads are available for tourists on demand, any day, starting at 8.30am for two hours of leisurely sightseeing around Norfolk Island. What a wonderful way to see and learn about the history of this fascinating island. Bookings can be made via the website or at your Island Orientation tour on arrival at Norfolk Island or at one of the booking offices in the main Burnt Pine shopping area.

Tourists are able to leave the modern world behind and join Culla & his Clydesdales (Ricky, Sailor, Zac and Sam) to experience a genuine horse and carriage ride on a tour along country roads to a Steeles Point private property location. The carriage rides are a permanent tourist attraction on Norfolk Island and can often be seen rambling peacefully along the quiet roadside enjoying the tropical paradise scenery.

It is listed as No.27 on the official Norfolk Island Information Centre website list of 101 things to do: Book a horse & carriage ride on the beautiful Clydesdales – Culla & Co.
