Tickfaw stater park runs a campground that is situated in the woods of the state park. There are separate areas for RV and tent campers. The area is located well away from busy roads and city lights so the sleeping is restful if the park is not full. Most sites are shaded. Roads are paved with tables, fire rings, parking spaces and lamp posts. Water is at all sites with the rv sites having electric as well.
Rates in 2014 were $14 for tents and $18 for RV + one time $6 reservation fee for the stay regardless of number of nights.
