Dated buildings are a rarity in Java, in my experience. This is the exception. The building is clearly of some age, and has an art-deco look, a look which is shared by many of the older buildings in Malang. The original purpose is not discernible, but the building now houses a coffee company. The year is clearly emblazoned in red above the main entrance. The building itself is clearly visible from the street.
