Lors de la construction du Sanatorium Bégin, les mots 'SVP Silence de 1 1/2 hre à 3 hres' ont été gravés dans la pierre d'un pilier du hall d'entrée. A cette époque, les malades atteints de tuberculose étaient alités dans les solariums, appelés 'salle de cure', pour respirer l'air pur en toute quiétude. La gravure date de cette époque et n'a plus sa raison d'être car le dernier tuberculeux a quitté le sanatorium en 1966!
The Sanatorim Begin was built in 1946-1950. The words "Please Silence 1 1/2 hre to 3 hrs' were etched in a stone pillar. At this time, the tuberculosis patients were bedridden in solariums, called 'room cure', breathing pure air. Engraving dates from this period and is no longer necessary because the last tuberculosis patient left in 1966!
