This abandoned swing bridge is near the mouth of the Erie Canal in Tonawanda, NY.

From what I can determine, this railroad swing bridge was a spur used by a smaller railroad company to service the industries and, um, "red light district" that used to exist in this section of Tonawanda back in the early 1900s. Presumably, the line headed north and connected to the New York Central in North Tonawanda.

Coordinates were taken from Google Earth and are for the pivot point of the bridge. It can be viewed from the Riverwalk bicycle path.
