This sculpture by Edelbert W. Bregy is located in the park next to Stockalper castle in the center of Brig. It is a giant brown trout mounted above a small brook that is running through the park.
The piece is called "Saltina Bachforelle"; Saltina is the river across the street and Bachforelle is the German name for a brown trout.
The light through the perforated metal plates gives you the illusion of motion when you walk around the sculpture.
