Description National Monument

R.K.Kerk of H. Boniface . Aisled neo-Gothic cruciform church with west tower , built in 1902 by PJ Genk . The wide nave and transept are passes under wooden arbours with plug caps . A lower narrower , with seven sides of a closed irregular polygon apse . Slender tower in the axis of the vessel , flanked on the south by a stair tower and covered by a spire . Simple , the early Gothic -inspired , three-part brick tracery in the windows . Original polychrome , glass and furniture largely preserved . Mechanical tower clock , circa 1880 , now out of use.

Traditionally lived in Kwadendamme area many Catholics . The former church of Kwadendamme was described by Van der Aa as "a small building , with a square tower , and is just an organ equipped ." This church was consecrated on October 22, 1801 . On September 29, 1902 the present church was consecrated with tower . The building was designed by architect P. J. Genk . The current interior says Van Don , " the original glass , furniture and interior polychrome [ are ] largely preserved . " It should be considered that this can be certain of the sculptor JA comes in part with respect to the image and furniture Genk , brother of the architect, who in many of his projects was turned so that the sculpture tentatively largely be attributed here. The images are delivered in 1905 by JW workshop Ramakers and Sons Sculptors in Geleen . This workshop also provided the main altar . This stems from the construction period . But the pulpit (1906 ) and the Pieta (1907 ) came from the sculptor of Geleen .
