A memorial to the Union veterans of Richland County ND by the Women's Relief Corps Post 7 stands proudly on the southwest corner of the County Courthouse grounds in Wahpeton ND.

This memorial is on the opposite side of the county courthouse grounds from the WWI memorial, over on the southwestern corner. It was placed by the Women's Relief Corps Post 7, the women's auxiliary of the all-male Grand Army of the Republic veteran's organization.
The memorial is made of pink granite on a double base. One side is smooth, the other 3 sides are rough. The smooth side is inscribed as follows:

AUXILIARY TO THE G.A.R.
