Really interesting paintings are hidden in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lubecko. Not only that these paintings are maybe from 12 century, but why this is "Best Kept Secret" is because they were hidden during centuries under another layers and found during renovation on last years. And what is more special is that these paintings include also saints depicted as animals or representation of the resurrection day.
Verification requirement:

- If it's somehow impossible to go inside take of photo of depicted church. If it is possible, make as many photos as possible to make them memoriezd for next generations :)

Kosciól pw. Najswietszej Marii Panny
Jest on najstarszym kosciolem w gminie. Pierwsza wzmianka pochodzi z 1342 r., jako parafialny wymieniony zostal w 1362 r. W obecnym ksztalcie zostal wzniesiony prawdopodobnie pod koniec XVI w. lub na poczatku XVII w. W 1776 r. zostal powiekszony z fundacji ówczesnej wlascicielki Lubecka - Anny Barbary Gaszynowej. Kosciól ten jest jedynym sanktuarium Maryjnym w Diecezji Gliwickiej z cudownym obrazem Matki Boskiej Lubockiej. Ten miniaturowej wielkosci obrazek juz od 1720 r. jest czczony i przyciaga wielu pielgrzymów nie tylko z najblizej polozonych miejscowosci, ale takze z bardziej odleglych regionów Polski.

Lubecko...
...to niewielka miejscowosc powiatu lublinieckiego i gminy Kochanowice. (...) Powiat lubliniecki lezy na Wyzynie Slaskiej, w jej pólnocnej czesci. W krajobrazie powiatu zaznaczaja sie cztery jednostki, z czego jedna to Garb Woznicki, na którym m.in. polozone jest Lubecko. Lubecko znajduje sie na jednym z najwyzszych wzniesien powiatu (292,5 m n.p.m.) i panuje nad cala okolica. Miejscowosc ta lezy tuz za Lublincem, przy drodze krajowej nr 11 (Katowice - Poznan) i przy drodze krajowej nr 46 (Opole - Czestochowa). Pod wzgledem wielkosci Lubecko nie nalezy do duzych miejscowosci - jego powierzchnia wynosi 5,25 km². Przez Lubecko biegnie szlak Powstan Slaskich.
