Cable Tide Wakeboarding is a locally owned cable wakeboarding company that has been in operation sine January this year. I must admit I'd never heard of it & it was only after a conversation with my daughter about this category that she said: Oh yes - there's one at Warrawong!

The in-line system the company uses stretches from the end of a long pier to an anchor point on shore. The company's website states: "The system provides a powerful consistant (sic) pull that can be tailored to pull as fast or slow as the riders skill level determines. It can be stopped at the precise moment a rider falls and is ready to pull them back up and riding as soon as they are ready".

You can walk out on the jetty to get a close up view of the launch area or watch from the shoreline. I got some great shots from the shore but can't ski so that's as close as I'll get.

Prices range from $30 an hour to $75 a day for adults & this includes the wakeboard, lifevest & helmet. A season pass is $500 an adult.
