The azimuth mark is a U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey Azimuth Mark disk stamped ---ORRS 1963--- and set in the top of a concrete post projecting about 1 inch above the surface of the ground. The mark is 39 feet southwest of the centerline of Jenkins Lane and 1 foot southwest of power pole 527A-3389.

From the Dallas Pike exit of Interstate Highway 70 about 8 miles east of Wheeling, go south on Dallas Pike for 0.05 mile to a crossroad. Turn right and go west on McCutcheon Road for 0.3 mile to a side road left. Turn left and go south on Jenkins Lane for 0.85 mile to the azimuth mark on the right.
