In the centre of village Chlaba (hun. Helemba) on slovak-hungarian border stands carved wooden column as a millenium memorial of St.Stephen I., first king of Hungary. On the front lower part of column we can see the Coat of Arms of Chlaba and St.Stephen's portrait. On it's side is carved text Millennium 2000. For Hungarians is Milliannium special as 1000. anniversary of coronation of their first king, St.Stephen I. Author of the work is Nagy Janos.
