Albertinia is often referred to as the 'home of the aloe'. The terrain and climate of the area is perfectly suited for the indigenous Cape Aloe (Aloe ferox).

Visitors are welcome to visit the House of Aloes Factory to view the process and learn more about these indigenous plants and their therapeutic and cosmetic properties.

Children under 12 may use the colorful playground equipment but only under parental supervision.

The factory is open 7 days a week from 8:00 to 17:00.
