This popular beach, with many restaurants and amenities, is located just a few miles south of Pattaya, Thailand. This wind generator right on the beach provides power for a radio base station system.

When one wants to get away from the bustle of Pattaya, and the crowded beaches of Jontiem, just head a few miles further south to Ban Amphur Beach. There are many seafood restaurants to choose from, and outdoor tables under the palms to enjoy fresh coconut -- the perfect place to chill out. The sand is a bit coarse here, but still pleasant.
