From Smithsonian Art Inventory:

"A rectangular steel plate with the a walking female figure cut out of the center. The cut-out figure of the walking female is placed in the center of the cut out space, as if walking away from the rigid form of the steel plate. The sculpture is welded and bolted to a circular steel plate which is bolted to a flat square brick base."

The sculpture was a gift from the Government of Venezuela in 1982 to the Museum of Modern Art of Latin America.
