Polmaily House Hotel sits within its own 20-acres of wooded gardens containing paths, a pond, tennis court and lawns. We are located in the heart of the Scottish highlands, surrounded by forested hills and only 3 miles from Drumnadrochit - close to Loch Ness.
The hotel is best described as a large house, privately owned, offering great character and an informal atmosphere for both adults and children. It is the kind of place where on a summer's afternoon or evening guests can take tea in the drawing-room or enjoy a cool drink on the terrace and admire the light Highland evening shadows lengthening across the slopes of Glen Urquhart. In the winter the scene changes to being cold and wintry outside yet warm and cosy inside where guests can unwind in front of our lovely log fire and sip a fine malt Whisky before and after enjoying a delicious 4-course dinner. The kids can enjoy their own "kids tea" and parents can relax at dinner in the knowledge that their children are sleeping or being watched over by our child minder.
