Reconfiguration is displayed on the grounds of the Newport Art Museum located in Newport, Rhode Island. Created out of steel and bronze, it was sculpted by Michael Hansel in 2000.

This sculpture, displayed on the grounds of the Newport Art Museum, was described as follows by Martina Windels in 'Art New England On Line' in the December 9-31, 2010 edition:

“Reconfiguration, which graces the Newport Art Museum lawn,(was) inspired originally by a bicycle sprocket and constructed in steel left to rust, projects a strong, almost human gesture with its silicon bronze tips suggesting waving hands.”
