Groping our way through a snowstorm we spotted a sign we had not previously noticed on clear and sunny days. It looked sufficiently interesting to warrant a stop.

It seems that this is where the stage coach stopped more than a century ago on its route northward from Colville and Kettle Falls. Though it's unlikely that this is the century old building at which the stage stopped, this is at least where it stopped. So it was only natural that the owners of the antique shop at this location should call upon history in the naming of their shop.
The sign is all metal, the stagecoach body and the vultures are fairly well detailed and have antique steel wheels and axles attached(on the stagecoach - no wheels on the vultures). The entire ensemble would be something on the order of 2¾ dimensions. More that two dimensional yet not quite three dimensional.
Note the sign on the shop: "Kettle Falls Stage Stop".
