Dnešní kostel stojí v míste rotundy stejného zasvecení z 9. stol. Jako farní a hrbitovní uváden v 11. a 12. století. V 1. pol. 13. století prestaven na kostel s obdélníkovou lodí a pravoúhlým knežištem. V roce 1645 švédskými vojsky vypálen. Obnoven 1734, v 30. let. 20. stol. pristavena sakristie.

Today's church is at the site of the rotunda of the same consecration from 9 century. As a parish cemetery church featured in the 11th and 12 century. In the first half of the 13th century rebuiled into a church with a rectangular boat and a rectangular chancel. In 1645, Swedish troops burnt the church down. Restored 1734, in the 30th years. 20th cent. sacristy was added.
