Today the chapel is only a fragment of the original Romanesque parish church of the first half of the 13th century., belonging to vanished village Tupanov. The original village probably disappeared in the 15th century, in 1625 has been reported as abandoned. Now it is used as the churchyard chappel of village Rybníky, wchich is about 2 km away.
