County of Tender: Decatur County
Location of Tender: between city hall and flower garden- corner of Centennial Park
Artist of Tender: Peggy Mothershead
There are two sculptures using bicycle parts about 4 blocks from here. I saw them first and almost missed this thinking it was an art piece.
City Hall was the passenger and freight train depot for this city. The train yards have been converted into a park. The library is placed where restaurants and hotels for the train crowd use to be.
The park playground equip and lots of grass and trees.

Shelley Bickel, Public Health Administrator for Decatur County, and Curtis Cotterill, County Custodian, delivered 6 bike racks to the City of Lamoni. The racks were constructed of recycled bicycle parts by local artist, Peggy Mothershead. The racks were paid for by a Public Health Grant awarded to Decatur County.
