The bridge dovecote Veyrac belonging to the castle was probably built in the early 17th century. Spanning the brook Glanet the building, rectangular in plan, built in stone and rubble, covered with a hip roof hollow tiles, has two levels. The first acting covered bridge used to access the stately orchard, located on the left bank, near a lake now drained. It is pierced laterally east and west two arched openings. The second level, accessible internally by a hatch and ladder, was devoted to pigeons space.
Current Condition of Bridge: Very good

Description of Covered Bridge:
Located outside the village, on the road to Limoges, this monument is probably unique in France. The upper part of this covered bridge served as a dovecote. It spans a creek that winds below the town. Its coverage is tiled, and there does not seem to exist today holes bearers who welcomed the pigeons. Note that this building is part of a private property, and access to the interior is prohibited. However, you can easily contemplate the road. In architectural terms, various details are remarkable, especially the care that was put into the decoration of the bridge piers.
