Few people, if any, have had more influence on history than Jesus of Nazareth. Our entire calendar system is based on his birth, give or take a couple of years.
There is plenty of nearby parking (except on Sundays), and a wheelchair-accessable trail around the lake.
On June 14, 2010, the statue was hit by lightning, and burned to the ground. Feel free to visit the remains, and log it.
