This cairn is raised in memory of his life
At the age of fourteen, she entered the convent Marianites Saint-Laurent, Montreal. August 22, 1857, she took her vows in spite of poor health. She received the name Sister Mary of St. Leonie and taught for several years. Until 1862, she taught in the radiance of Montreal, then sends eight years in an orphanage St. Vincent de Paul of New York. In 1870, she chose to move to the American community of the Sisters of Holy Cross, Indiana. In the fall of 1874, she was sent to Indiana in Memramcook, New Brunswick, to take charge of the team of nuns and young Acadiennes.Là she officially founded in 1880, the Institute: The Classifieds sisters of the Holy Family to collaborate and support the Religious of St. Croix in the work of education.
