I spied this very colorful mural of what appears to be a circus acrobat, and his faithful sidekick (and equally colorful) zebra, on Waterkamp Street in Cape Town, South Africa.

Waterkamp Street is a closed-off street with a cobbled-brick surface, that is used by sidewalk vendors to set up portable little shops-on-wheels, which are dismantled each evening and rolled away by the shopkeepers, only to return the next day (if there is room for them!) This mural is painted on the exterior wall near the permanent brick-and-mortar merchant called Pic N Pay and and electronics store called Traderonic.

There is no plaque nor artist listed. It appears to be an actual mural and not graffitti. I'm not sure when it was painted, but Google Earth has a peg-man view of Waterkamp Street dated 2010 and the mural is viewable, so it is older than 2010. The Acrobat looks like he is kicking a soccer ball, so maybe this was painted in preperation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Soccer Tournament that was held in Africa.
