This special wheel offers 36 individual "pods" to ride in, as the huge wheel rotates and takes riders 40 meters above the ground. The wheel rotates fairly slowly, with each revolution requiring about 2.5 minutes. The wheel is located in popular Victoria & Albert Waterfront (VA Waterfront), a hub of activity in Cape Town, where visitors will be kept busy at the numerous shops, over 100 restraurants/eateries, an acquarium and this huge ferris wheel.
