This rest area is conveniently located on Highway 1. There is a good turn around area which is good if you are towing a van. There are also flush toilets, covered picnic tables and some information boards with some local history and other information about the area.
There are plenty of shady campsites around the toilet block but there is also a large overflow area behind the treed area.
This is popular with the grey nomads so may fill up by mid afternoon.
