This metal sculpture is located in the landscaped area directly in front of (and to the southwest) of the entrance to the South African National Art Gallery that is located in The Company's Garden, in Cape Town, South Africa.

The sculpture is kinetic, comprised of a wheel that can be turned, which engages the cables that cause the sculpture to move. It features a man running from a male lion. I did not operate the sculpture during my visit because there is no sign that advises this is permitted.

The sculpture is the creation of Mark O’Donovan of Odd Enjinears.
