Navegna is a river in the canton of Ticina and namesake of the district Navegna. It has a length of about five kilometers and has its origin of Mount Cardada in the northwest of Minusio. The it flows toward east through the forrest at the slope of the mountain and then turns toward south through the residential areas of Minusio. The destination is about 200 meters east of the Fort Ca' di Ferro.
Lake Maggiore is a large Alpine Lake with a length of 66 km and a width of up to 10 km. 80% of the surface is Italian, 20% Swiss. The destionation of Navegna is almost at the northernmost edge of the Swiss lake basin.
The coordinates are from the lake share at the eastern bank of the river; the pictures were taken there, except one that is from the pedestrian bridge on the lake promenade, some 20 meters north from there.
