Obstacles such as the Tongue River and the mountain supporting the arch itself make it nearly impossible to access this arch except by experienced rock climbers. The arch is clearly visible from the campground at the end of Tongue Canyon Road and from portions of the trail that continues from the end of the road toward Tongue River Cave.
