Das Denkmal befinder sich unterhalb der Laurenburg und oberhalb des Ortes Laurenburg. Es erinnert an die gefallenen Soldaten aus der Region im 2. Weltkrieg.
Das Denkmal ist komplett aus Stein gefertigt und zeigt den Stahlhelm eines Soldaten sowie einen Lorbeerkranz. Auf der Front und links befindet sich jeweils eine allgemeine, bronzende Gedenktafel.
The memorial is located just below the castle "Laurenburg", above the village of Laurenburg, Rhineland-Platina, Germany. It reminds of the fallen soldiers in WWII from the region.
The memorial is made from stone and shows a soldier's army helmet with laurel wreath below. On the front and the left side of the memorial two general information signs made from Bronze can be found.
