This is what is left after 23 feet of water came roaring over it with 125 mph winds from Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005. This McDonalds was right across from the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. It was a very popular spot prior to the storm. Now all that is left is Ronald McDonald standing watch over the destruction and devastation.
