A row of five gasoline pumps form an an eye-catching display at the Classic Auto Wash. This car was is famous for its kitschy assortment of popular icons.
The center yellow pump is an example of a visible gasoline pump from the 1920's. It carries a dome light with the Gilmore name. To its left is a classic red double sided Texaco Fire Chief pump with the five-star Texaco symbol on the dome light. To the right is a blue Sonoco pump with a blue and yellow Blue Sonoco name on the dome light. On each end are dial-type pumps. On the left a brown and red pump with a red dial. On the right a yellow and red pup with white dial. Neither of these pumps are showing a brand name.
