Temešvár is a village and municipality in Písek District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 5.25 square kilometres, and has a population of 105 (as at 2 October 2006).

Timisoara (German: Temeswar) is the capital city of Timis County, in western Romania. One of the largest Romanian cities, with a population of 319,279 inhabitants (the third most populous city in the country, as of 2011), and considered the informal capital city of the historical region of Banat.
