This is the largest free-standing hall in the world: 360 meters long, 210 meters wide and 107 meters high. That is big enough to fit the Statue of Liberty in standing up and the Eiffel Tower lying on its side.
The dome was built as an airship hangar in the year 2000. But, before the first prototype of the giant airships could built, the company closed. Since 2004, there is inside the Tropical Island - the LARGEST tropical holiday world in Europe.
