Denne flypropel, som er en gave fra RAF (Royal Air Force) blev opsat i 1995. Den udgør et mindesmærke over de norske og allierede besætningsmedlemmer som opererede på den norske sydvest kyst fra 1940-1945. Mindesmærket er opsat på dette sted, hvor marinens flyvestation var placeret fra 1918-1940. Propellen kommer fra et De Havilland DH 98 to motorers bombefly som blev hentet op fra 300 meters dybde udfor egernsund.
This airplane prop, which is a gift from RAF (Royal Air Force) was established in 1995. It is a memorial over the Norwegian and the allied crew members who operated on the South West coast area of Norway from 1940-1945. The memorial is placed where the airport of the marine was located from 1918-1940. The airscrew comes from a De Havilland DH 98 two engine bomber which was salvaged from 300 metres depth at Egernsund.
