Located at the border of Banff and Jasper National Parks in Canada the Columbia Icefield is an amazing place to visit. The penny smasher is located in the visitor center just inside the main enterance from the vehicle parking lot. There are three designs, one for the icefields, one for Banff N.P. and one for Canada. We got the icefield penny but would love for some other waymarkers to chose the other pennys so that they can be photographed.
One funny thing about this smasher is that the machine was built for american pennies. Therefore, there is a large bin of US Pennies for people to use instead of trying to use a Canadian penny.
