Der Schrägaufzug Ehrenbreitstein verbindet den unten am Rheinufer gelegenen Stadtteil Ehrenbreitstein barrierefrei mit der Festung Ehrenbreitstein und der Jugendherberge. An gleicher Stelle verkehrte zuvor 53 Jahre lang ein Sessellift.
Der Schrägaufzug vom Typ Twinliner der österreichischen Firma ABS Transportbahnen wurde anlässlich der Bundesgartenschau 2011 am 15. April 2011 in Betrieb genommen. Der Aufzug fasst 25 Personen bei einer Nutzlast von 1875 kg. Die Förderleistung liegt bei etwa 240 Personen pro Richtung in der Stunde. Die Streckenlänge beträgt 260 m, die Höhendifferenz 94 m, die maximale Neigung 26°.
Der Schrägaufzug wird wie ein Aufzug bedient. Er fährt ganzjährig von 06:00 - 00:30 Uhr.

The funicular connects the district Ehrenbreitstein lying down at the banks of Rhine barrier free with the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and the hostel. At the same place was for 53 years before a chairlift.
The funicular type Twinliner by the Austrian company ABS Transportbahnen was put into operation for the Bundesgartenschau 2011 (Federal horticulture show 2011) on 15 April 2011.
