This artificial waterfall drops over a man-made precipice into a large pond frequented by many different species of waterfowl indigenous to the Albuquerque area or passing through on their way elsewhere. There are also many semi-domesticated birds, primarily ducks, that hang out here for the handouts provided by zoo visitors.
