El Tunco is mostly a hangout for the surfer crowd...but there are also some hotels and restaurants catering to the less active sort.
El Tunco is easily recognizable by the huge monlith sitting right on the coast.
Although Wikipedia doesn't have an article about this beach, it does have a photo of it in it's article for Tamanique, the Department of La Libertad Province (
