Církevní areál založený na pocátku 9. století západními misionári z Rakouska a Itálie. Po návratu arcibiskupa Metodeje z bavorského zajetí sloužil jako jeho sídlo. Zanikl na konci 9. století, kostel byl v 10. století obnoven jako pohrební kaple, sloužil do 13. století, kdy definitivne zanikl Je považován za místo hrobu knížete Svatopluka a arcibiskupa Metodeje.

Church area founded on the 9th century by Christian missionaries from Austria and Italy. After returning of Archbishop Methodius from the Bavarian captivity served as his headquarters. It was destroyed in the late 9th century, the church was in the 10th century restored as a funerary chapel, served by 13 century, when it finally closed, is considered the grave of Prince Svatopluk and Archbishop Methodius.
