The cathedral St. James of Sibenik is the most impressing building in the city centre of Sibenik. Because of its uniqueness it got the title of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The cathedral was build in the 15th century by a local architect. It got Gothic and Renaissance elements in its style. It is the most famous tourist attraction of Sibenik and worth a visit. It also got a very nice Krypta, you shouldn't miss.
At the main entrance, over the door you find this very nice and colorful rosewindow.
Die Kathedrale des heiligen Jakob ist das vielleicht beeindruckenste Gebäude Sibeniks. Aufgrund seiner Einzigartigkeit wurde es zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe erklärt.

Die Kathedrale wurde im 15 Jh. von einem lokalen Architekten errichtet. Sie vereint Stilelemente der Gothik und der Renaissance. Die Kathedrale von St. Jakob ist die bekannteste Sehenswürdigkeit Sibeniks und allemal einen Besuch wert.
Direkt über dem Haupteingang befindet sich das hier gezeigte, schöne und bunte Rosenfenster.
