The Yardarm Motel - Searsport, ME - Recommended Accommodation on Waymarking.com

Very comfortable accommodations along the coast in Maine. I would not call the room, roomy but for a couple of days it works. There are a couple places to eat within a short distance. There is an Irving station with a convenience store right across the street.

They provide a simple continental breakfast in the mornings. Rooms are very clean and have that time gone by charm. The motel is locally owned, matter of fact the owners liver right here, and given this place is very clean and has the right stuff, this should be all the more reason to give the little guy a chance.

If you like sunrises, especially if you are a photographer, there is a wonderful spot within a mile of the Yardarm. After a day of sightseeing they have a great porch right off the rooms to just sit and relax, while having your favorite beverage.

For the price we found the accommodation quite good for the price. This is a time gone by charm type place, which is the kind of place we like staying at while traveling.
