In looking at the Facebook page about Montgomery, Alabama, history (Times Gone By - History of Montgomery, Alabama), I noticed a new photo of an old Burger Chef. One of the posters said it was now Vicki's Lunch Van. A quick check of the web showed the restaurant web page and the address. I decided to go ahead and eat lunch there. The building still looks like an old Burger Chef location, though it has had several different tenants over the years. I asked the person at the counter about its history, and she confirmed it had been a Burger Chef at one time. I was not able to find any information about the building's time as a Burger Chef.
The street address on their web page is 2520 Fairground Rd, Montgomery, AL, but it looks on the map as though it faces Crestview Street. I used the Fairground Road address in my GPS and it took me to the right spot.
