This old chimney built in 1919 is all that remanins of the Robb Jetty Abattoir that used to be on this site. The abattoir was built to process the livestock arriving from the Kimberley region of W.A and was decommisioned in 1994, leaving the chimney as the only remaning part of an extensive complex of buildings
The chimney is listed on the State Register of Heritage Places
