The air field west of Dittingen is managed by the local glider club SGD (Segelflug-Gruppe Dittingen).

It is mainly used by gliders and sports airplanes. Due to the difficult topology around the air field, landing there is only allowed after specific on-site training; for the same reason the technical date of the field are not published.

Dittingen is best known for its bi-annual air shows that usually feature a lot of vintage airplanes, acrobatic flights, hot air balloons and much more. (visit link)
