Located on the campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks the Museum of the North is spectacular to visit albeit the very strange shape of the building lends itself to many oddly shaped galleries.

After looking all around the museum grounds I can see what they mean about it looking like a whale. The shape is more prominent when viewed from above, but can be seen when viewing from the northeast area as well as the south side.
